I adore all-white kitchens, there is something so wonderfully simplistic about them. They remind me of everything I love about the countryside – ideally I’d love to have all my cabinets and tiling white and then add subtle hints of colour with my beautiful hardback cookery books, fresh flowers and plants.
Oh the pink chair – just a single pink chair, preferably a vintage one. I’ve been on the lookout for my pink chair for a long time. After years of flea-market trawling, I’ve found some lovely ones but refuse to settle for none other than my perfect pink chair.
Ever since my university days, I’ve been turning my walls into real-life physical tumblrs. I absolutely love wall-collages, especially above my desk as inspiration while I work. Done artfully, magazine tear-outs can look so pretty, and a super affordable way to decorate too!
Really into black/grey sofas – they don’t get as dirty as quickly, which means my dogs can roll around all over them! And such a neutral colour, perfect shade to go for if you are living with your husband/boyfriend – in my experience, men aren’t so down with pink everything (but oh how I wish they were)!
Who can resist a good old-fashioned flower print? A little big vintage, super retro and gives a room that cosy, worn-in look. Very tempted to source some liberty inspired wallpaper and cover my dressing room in it!
And speaking of dressing rooms, clothes can be interior decoration too! I love to hang my favourite pieces out where I can see them – makes getting dressed in the morning a little easier too!
Really love how frames look stacked on the floor – or dotted irregularly on walls. And I am def. needing a bar at home – I love how retro this one is, reminds me of Don Draper from Mad Men!
