Carnival Chic

I think I have just made it in time for this blog!

In London, this bank holiday weekend is called “The last weekend of Summer” which makes me a little bit sad but at the same time it is probably one of my fav weekend’s in London, because it is Notting Hill Carnival. Which means a 3 day street party in my town.  Notting Hill turns into a music fest of colour, style and a weekend of fun, friends & fashion where NO RULES APPLY! 😉
Its fun to embrace and be inspired by Carnival style – throwing prints, fringe & embellishments together,  mixing high street with designer and teaming it with transitional pieces that take you from day to night – so you can continue the party all night ( morning!!)

ACCESSORISE

If you want to leave the outfits to the parade girls! Then you can always accessorise your look instead. Flower hair garlands and stacked/ layered jewellery look super chic with braided or loose hair.

PARTY EYES / FRESH FACE
Add some eye glam! Eye jewels always look beautiful at Festivals & Carnivals.  Ask a friend to help you apply and take some glue with you in your bag just incase. The best thing about rocking Party Eye’s is you don’t need to keep on top of your make up throughout the day because you know with these pretty jewels once they are stuck in place, all the focus will be on your bambi eyes! No touch ups needed and more time to party!
