When it comes to Italy I am just a little bit biased because it’s where I was asked to be someone’s wife and it’s impossible for me to talk about Italy without totally swooning. I have have since been back, several times, and the country continues to set my heart on fire – the people, the food, the architecture, the wine! The fact that each region seems to offer it’s own little treasures – Parma for the food, Piedmont for the wine, Lake Como for the beach.
I know summer is still here and it’s not really appropriate for me to talk winter knits but it would be rude of me not to share what fashion insiders already know. . .THE MAXI CARDIE WILL BE BIG. That means long length cardigans will be the must have item for transition into winter and it really is the longer the better. So don’t be in a rush to buy your winter jacket because it really will be about layering long length knits as outerwear (at least until they prove useless against the predicted cold winter).
So if you are twitching, just a little, to buy things under the NEW COLLECTION sign do make sure it’s one (or two) of these.
