FROM VERA TO VERUSCHKA

My must have this month is the new fashion book  From Vera to Veruschka 
There’s such a feeling of wander lust  & simplicity in the new coffee table book from one of my favourite 60’s Icon Veruschka. Her beauty was so natural, amazonian and oh that hair! A real life bombshell.
 From Vera to Veruschka is a book of beautiful images taken by late photographer Johnny Moncada in the early 60’s before Vera reinvented herself as the Super Model Veruschka –  all before she was gracing the cover of Magazine’s, starring as a Sex Kitten in BLOW UP and was simply known as Vera von Lehndroff.
 “Perhaps you can see the beginnings of this transformation,” she writes. “[But] in Johnny’s photos I always remained Vera.”
